Unakite
This unakite originates from the gravel banks of the Rose River in Madison County Virginia. The collecting site is just outside the Shenandoah National Park on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Unakite, the Virginia state stone, is actually a combination of three minerals, green epidote, pink feldspar, and smoky quartz. Though unakite exists in places other than Virginia, the Virginia variety is considered the premium source in the world.
