Located near Cody, Wyoming, this cavern was originally called Frost Cave. It was so named after the first known individual that discovered it. Outside the cave is a good area to collect specimens of calcite. Inside the cavern is off limits to any collecting. The cave entrance is secured and locked. The key can be signed out at the Cody office of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
