Montana agates, maybe some of the prettiest agates in the world. They occur and can be collected along the gravel bars of the Yellowstone River in Montana. Prized are those with reddish color with included dendrites. The agate material is of a very fine homogeneous chalcedony which allows these agates to take a high polish.
